Mesmerising Fish Point
Hello readers,
Today i have something special for you. Let me take you to a not so explored spot, The Hammeripal Lake. It's a small lake in Taladri village of Rajsamand district, Kumbalgarh.
The lake got it's name, 'Hammeripal' from Rana Hammir Singh of sisodia clan who built it. The lake is home to thousands of giant African Catfish. Anyone planning to visit Kumbalgarh should definetly enjoy the scenic beauty sorrounding the lake. Visitors can buy fish food from the nearby shops.
How did African Catfish reach here?
A Contractor started breeding in the lake for fish Farming. Later,the villagers opposed farming and since then the number of African Catfish kept increasing.Even today catching of fish is prohibited here by the villagers. It is definetly a visual treat to watch them fed by the visitors.
